Secure
Secure design comes first. Identity, signing and encryption are the first decision in a product, not a later addition.
We build secure edge devices, IoT gateway solutions and smart control systems for industrial facilities, buildings and field equipment. By combining technology and engineering, we deliver secure, efficient and sustainable solutions in a connected world.
Most industrial IoT projects stumble not because the technology is missing, but because responsibility is not. One company supplies the sensor, another builds the panel, a third writes the cloud side; when something does not work in the field, it turns out nobody sees the whole picture.
We founded PN Controls to close that gap. We design the board, we write the firmware that runs on it, and we build the cloud platform the device talks to. Whether a problem sits in the radio layer, in protocol conversion or in the data model, finding the answer does not require getting three suppliers into the same meeting.
That completeness also means speed. When a new customer requirement appears we do not start from zero; we build a variant on top of an existing hardware, firmware and platform base.
Secure design comes first. Identity, signing and encryption are the first decision in a product, not a later addition.
We build smart solutions. A device does not just move data; it is capable enough to make its own decisions.
We create value with edge technology. Decisions are made in the field; the cloud is there for analysis and management.
We deliver sustainable, dependable solutions. If a device has to run for years in the field, it has to be designed that way from day one.
Board design built to survive field conditions: wireless radio integration, isolated digital and analogue I/O stages, relay drivers and cellular connectivity.
Production-grade firmware that runs for years without interruption and can be updated remotely with confidence. Its modular structure means a new variant is never written from scratch.
LoRaWAN, Modbus RTU/TCP, BACnet MS/TP and IP, MQTT, BLE — plus our own library for the infrared protocols of more than 25 HVAC manufacturers.
Edge automation powered by PN Controls Studio, built as a graphical diagram and updatable remotely. Decisions are made in the field.
FIOTX Platform: device management, telemetry, alarms, remote control and FOTA. It runs in our cloud, on your server, or on the edge device at the site.
Every device leaves the line with its own identity and its test record. Production, shipment, warranty and service history follow the serial number.
A slogan should be verifiable. What follows are the concrete security decisions we apply in our products.
Every device has its own identity that cannot be copied, and it is created inside the device during production. It never leaves the device — not to the production line, not to the cloud, not to any log.
The identity only becomes permanent once every production test has passed. Impersonating a device in the field, or cloning one into the system, is therefore not possible.
A device runs only software carrying our signature; an unsigned or subsequently altered update is rejected. The signing key is a company asset, held in a controlled environment and never present on developer machines.
Device and platform verify each other and all traffic between them is encrypted. Critical commands are signed on top of that, so even if the network layer were breached, an invalid command would not be acted on.
A new version is never written permanently to the field straight away. A limited trial period starts first, and if the expected confirmation does not arrive, the device returns to the working version on its own. That is what stops a remote device being bricked by a bad update.
When a vulnerability appears, being able to reach the devices in the field matters as much as closing the hole. Device inventory, the spread of running versions and update campaigns are tracked centrally.
Compliance and traceability. Production records, the device identity register, software bills of materials, vulnerability and incident logs are kept centrally. The structure is designed to support the kind of lifetime traceability that regulations such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) expect.
A project or a supply requirement — whatever the subject, let's start with a short conversation.
