Product families

Six product families, one architecture. They share the same security model, the same factory provisioning and the same cloud protocol, and they are designed to complement each other in the field.

How the names work. The commercial name states the family and its capacity (PN Connect IO-4); the technical ordering code spells out the hardware configuration (PCIO-4R-2DI-2AI-LW = 4 relays, 2 digital inputs, 2 analogue inputs, LoRaWAN). The connectivity variant lives in the suffix: LW LoRaWAN, WF Wi-Fi, ETH Ethernet, LTE cellular.

PN Climate HVAC

Multi-point read and control gateway for central VRF and HVAC systems

A central air-conditioning system already produces hundreds of data points — setpoint, room temperature, mode, fan speed, running state, fault code and running hours for every indoor unit. The problem is that this data stays locked inside the system.

PN Climate HVAC reaches the entire system from a single connection point. There is no need to fit a device to every indoor unit, pull separate cabling or commission them one by one: it connects to the system once, then reads and controls all units.

  • Access: The whole system from one connection point
  • Scope: Hundreds of parameters per indoor unit
  • Read: Temperature, mode, fan, state, fault codes
  • Write: Per-unit setpoint, mode and locking
  • BMS integration: Modbus and BACnet
  • Backhaul: Ethernet or cellular

The collected data is exposed to the existing building automation and to FIOTX at the same time. Without disturbing how the BMS is already used, you can then define building-wide operating schedules, setpoint limits and empty-room shutdown rules, and monitor fault codes centrally.

PN Sense

Battery-powered LoRaWAN environmental and field sensors

A wireless sensor family for spaces where cabling is impossible or uneconomical. In warehouses, cold rooms, plant rooms, server rooms and remote field points it measures temperature, humidity and similar quantities and sends them straight to the gateway over LoRaWAN — no power and no data infrastructure required.

  • Connectivity: LoRaWAN Class A
  • Power: Long-life battery
  • Coverage: Indoor and open field
  • Commissioning: Registration from the platform

PN Climate IR

LoRaWAN Class C infrared air-conditioning controller

Gives existing split and cassette units remote control without any hardware modification. The device speaks the air conditioner's own infrared protocol and receives setpoint, mode and on/off commands from the cloud. Because it runs as Class C, a command lands immediately instead of waiting for the next uplink window.

  • IR protocols: 25+ HVAC manufacturers
  • Learning: Capture from the original remote
  • Commissioning: Configuration over BLE
  • Updates: Signed remote updates
  • Connectivity: LoRaWAN Class C

Supported manufacturers include Gree, Midea, LG, Mitsubishi, Samsung, Vestel and Viessmann; a remote that is not on the list can be captured with the device's learning mode.

PN Connect

Programmable remote I/O and Modbus controller family

Devices that monitor digital and analogue field signals, act through relay outputs, talk to Modbus equipment and carry the data to the platform. The Modbus role is not a physical variant but a configured operating mode — the same hardware can behave as a Master, a Slave or a gateway.

  • Relay outputs: 4 channels
  • Digital inputs: Dry contact
  • Analogue inputs: 4–20 mA and 0–10 V
  • Serial: RS485 / Modbus RTU
  • Modbus role: Master or Slave (selectable)
  • Example order code: PCIO-4R-2DI-2AI-LW

PN Edge

Industrial multi-protocol edge gateway and LoRaWAN gateway

The main gateway that gathers the different protocols on a site, filters the data and carries it to the cloud — and keeps working locally when the link drops. The LoRaWAN gateway is built in, so it serves all PN Sense and LoRaWAN devices itself; you do not need a separate one.

  • Uplink: Ethernet, Wi-Fi, LTE (redundant)
  • LoRaWAN: Built-in gateway
  • Field bus: Multiple RS485 / Modbus
  • Building protocols: BACnet MS/TP and IP
  • Connectivity: Automatic failover
  • Local control: Programmable with PN Controls Studio

PN Energy

Three-phase power analyser family

Measures three-phase consumption at the panel and exposes it to local automation and the cloud at the same time. It can be read as a Modbus Slave, appear to building automation over BACnet, and report to FIOTX through its own connection — modernising the measurement layer without replacing your BMS.

  • Measurement: Three-phase current, voltage, power, energy
  • Serial: Modbus RTU Slave, BACnet MS/TP
  • Ethernet: Modbus TCP, BACnet IP
  • Backhaul: LTE or LoRaWAN

Custom hardware & engineering

A device that is not in the catalogue

Our product families double as a development base. When a customer project cannot be met with a standard product, building a new variant on top of the existing hardware and firmware base is far faster than starting from scratch.

  • Hardware variants. A different I/O count, sensor interface, radio module or enclosure.
  • Protocol adaptation. Custom Modbus register maps, vendor-specific serial protocols, matching the expectations of an existing SCADA or BMS.
  • Custom firmware. Tailored embedded software development, field algorithms and dedicated communication routines.
  • Production and provisioning. Writing an identity into every device in series production, plus the test and labelling flow around it.

Shared foundation

All products share one hardware and firmware base. Radio, network management, configuration and update layers are reused, so a new variant ships quickly.

Shared security

A new variant inherits device identity, signed firmware and encrypted connectivity as they are. Security is not solved again for every product.

Shared platform

The device connects to FIOTX from day one — no separate application is needed for telemetry, commands, alarms or FOTA.
